Our Woodbury Proposal

We take our engagement with the community very seriously and have designed and will develop a resort casino that fits within Woodbury. This is a $880 million investment in the community which will help create thousands of permanent jobs.

Caesars is committed to making our $880 million destination resort a part of the Woodbury Community, and making it the most successful casino project in New York.

Caesars is the most widely recognized brand in gaming, and has the largest network of worldwide customers of any casino company in the world. Through our Total Rewards program, we will be able to market and promote Caesars New York to our more than 45 million members, which will maximize out-of-state travel to our destination.

Because of our location, and because of this unique marketing advantage, Caesars will be the most successful casino in New York, bringing more revenue and jobs to New York State, Woodbury and Orange County than any other proposed facility.

Key Benefits to Woodbury

$39 million in new revenue to the region every year.

Approximately 1,500 construction and 3,000 permanent, good paying union jobs. These jobs will provide average compensation of about $50,000 per year.

Job and vendor fairs specifically aimed at Woodbury residents and businesses, as well as residents from the Hudson Valley / Catskill Region.

Committed to fund a significant portion of the Exit 131 project improvements to help significantly ease traffic issues in Woodbury.

Partnering with the community to offer our Total Rewards loyalty program at area businesses.

Teaming up with Orange County Tourism to cross-promote the Woodbury resort casino with the county’s numerous tourist attractions.

Partnering with the Orange County Office of Community Development to ensure that we identify and contract with Women, Minority and Disadvantage Enterprises to the largest extent possible.

Commitment to the Community

Across all of our properties in the U.S., we are deeply rooted in local communities

and play an active role in local community life. We intend to be a part of local

communities for the long-term and know that our fate is intertwined with our local

environment. Every time we open a new property, we look for opportunities to use our

passion, skills and resources to help make life in that community better.
